Convergence Animaux Politique (CAP) is a non-profit charity founded in 2017 to fill a critical gap in the French animal protection movement by coordinating and empowering effective lobbying for animal welfare and plant-based transition.
Why Focus on France? France is one of Europe’s largest animal product producers, holding significant influence both domestically and within the EU. France’s role as a frequent barrier to EU-wide animal welfare reforms makes it essential to target policy advancements here, as positive shifts in France can create a ripple effect across Europe.

For US donors, donations to Convergence Animaux Politique can be made through our partner A Well-Fed World, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 27-0865905), so your donation is fully tax-deductible as allowed by law. To support our work, please use our US donations form.
For non-US donors, we do not issue a tax receipt unless you are taxable in France.
Here is an overview of the breakdown of our expenses, from our most recent financial statement:
40% goes to supporting our partner NGOs and coordinating collective actions (animal movement support)
33% goes to mobilizing policymakers (advocacy work)
18% goes to organizing events gathering policymakers and NGOs
9% covers the operational costs of the organization
